At King Dental, we provide our patients with modern dentistry in a clean, inviting location. One of the ways we can do this is through the use of up-to-date technology.
The CEREC crown machine allows patients the ability to have inlays, onlays, crowns, and veneers usually in the same appointment. CAD/CAM have been in use for over 30 years and is one of the most trusted tooth restoration methods.
Traditionally, patients would have to have a temporary crown or other treatment placed over their tooth for several weeks while they wait for a lab to send the dentist their custom crown or veneer. This system, however, allows us to place your permanent treatment item on the same day as your original treatment, which keeps you from having to take too much time out of your day. We can take impressions of your teeth after treatment, and simply use the CEREC machine to quickly create a custom product for your needs.

Cone Beam X-Ray
X-rays are a vital part of your normal dental exams. This procedure allows your dentist to see areas of your teeth and gums that are otherwise not visible. X-rays are also used during certain treatments to ensure that the procedure is properly completed.
Our cone beam x-ray scanner helps Dr. King place dental implants with exceptional precision. He can also use it to diagnose certain conditions and plan endodontic or periodontal care.
The cone beam scanner creates a 3-D image instead of the traditional flat image. It does this by circling your head and taking images from a number of different angles. The resulting image is viewed on a computer monitor, which allows Dr. King to zoom in and highlight certain areas for improved detail. He can also review the image with you to explain a condition or treatment.
